1. What this policy covers
This policy explains how we use cookies and similar technologies (such as local storage, pixels, and session-recording scripts) on the Kirak website and in Kirak Studio, and how you can control them.
A cookie is a small text file a website stores on your device. First-party cookies are set by us; third-party cookies are set by another company whose service we use (for example, Google or Microsoft).
2. Your choices
- Strictly necessary cookies are always active — the website and Studio can’t work without them, and they don’t require consent.
- Analytics and product/experience cookies are set only after you accept them in our cookie banner. You can accept all, reject all, or choose by category.
- You can change your choice at any time via the “Cookie settings” link in the website footer, or by clearing cookies in your browser.
- If you reject the optional cookies, you can still use the website and Studio normally.
3. Cookies we use

| consent preference cookie | Remembers your cookie choices | 6–12 months |
(Confirm the exact names from the running app before publishing.)
3.2 Analytics — set only with your consent

3.3 Product / experience — set only with your consent
Microsoft Clarity records anonymised session replays and heatmaps (mouse movement, clicks, scrolling — text typed into form fields is masked) to help us see where the site is confusing.

|---|---|---|---|
_clck |
Microsoft Clarity | Persists a Clarity user ID for the site | 1 year |
_clsk |
Microsoft Clarity | Links page views in one session | 1 day |

MUID |

(Cookie names and durations for Google and Microsoft change over time; re-check against a live scan periodically.)
4. Similar technologies
- Local storage / session storage — Studio uses these to hold interface state (for example, which tab you last had open). They are not cookies but work similarly and, where used for non-essential purposes, are covered by your consent choice.
- Pixels / tags — Google Ads may use a conversion tag that reads the
_gcl_aucookie above. It is only active with your consent.
5. Managing cookies in your browser
Most browsers let you see, block, and delete cookies through their settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop parts of the site or Studio from working. Guidance:

6. “Do Not Track” and Global Privacy Control
Our banner is how we take your cookie choice. Where your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we treat it as a request to reject non-essential cookies.
7. Changes
We may update this policy as our use of cookies changes. The current version is always at kirak.io/legal/cookies.
